About this event
Engine information systems (EIS) give pilots real-time insight into engine health and performance. We’ll cover how to interpret key indications and trends in flight and on the ground, what common abnormal readings may mean, and how to use that data to make safer decisions when issues occur. This session also addresses practical interpretation that often isn’t explained in the Pilot Operating Handbook (POH), what the numbers mean right now, and what to do once you’re safely back on the ground. In many GA airplanes we don’t have parachutes, so knowing how to use EIS data can help keep you and your passengers safe.
